Welcome to the latest update of the Zenless Zone Zero Tier List! In this edition, we’ve meticulously evaluated each playable character based on extensive beta testing, Hollow Zero, and feedback from over 50 dedicated Zenless players. Our team has rigorously tested every character up to the maximum level of 60 to provide you with the most accurate rankings.

Additionally, we’ve included the newest agents introduced in Zenless Zone Zero, adjusting their ranks accordingly. Characters not yet featured in this list are currently undergoing testing and will be ranked in future updates. Let’s delve into the rankings and discover which characters reign supreme in the Zenless Zone Zero universe.

Hollow Zero

Hollow Zero is an endgame mode in Zenless Zone Zero, similar to other endgame modes like Shiyu Defense and Rally Commission. In Zenless Zone Zero, this is a core gameplay mode that offers abundant rewards, such as Resonia, which helps in reducing difficulty. Players can access Hollow Zero by clicking the Scott Outpost button, located at the bottom right corner of the screen.

In this game mode, a character can gain trust with Proxies through Affinity Resonia. Once the trust reaches a certain level, Resonia will become available in Hollow Zero of Zenless Zone Zero. In this mode, each stage will open one by one. After players complete the first stage, the second stage will unlock, and they can earn Resonia buffs by completing the challenges. To unlock Hollow Zero, players must complete the Earlybird Ticket to Safety Commission. After that, the Inter-Knot level will increase, allowing Hollow Zero to be unlocked.

ZZZ Agents Explanation

Here, we’ve provided explanations for all the characters. Please check them once.

Soldier 11

The Fire Element Agent Soldier 11’s EX Special Attack, “Fervent Fire,” deals fire damage and inflicts a Burn Effect on the enemy, lasting up to 5 seconds, weakening them during this duration. Additionally, her Chain Attack, “Uplifting Flame,” applies a Burn Effect to the enemy. She also regains energy when executing basic attacks, dodge counters, and dash attacks.

Once the energy bar is full, you can activate the Ultimate Skill, Bellowing Flame, which will significantly reduce the enemy’s HP to its maximum. The dodge skill, Tempered Fire and Backdraft, helps in avoiding enemy attacks and dealing huge fire damage.

Koleda

Koleda’s Basic Attack, Smash N Bash, deals both physical and fire damage. When you use the Jump + Basic Attack combination, the damage count doubles. Additionally, there is a 6th hit that replaces the first hit of the basic attack string when continuing from a full combo.

Her EX Special Attack, Noiling Furnace, delivers a powerful strike with a hammer on the enemy, causing a Burn Effect that lasts for up to 10 seconds. However, using the Jump Attack combination increases the damage percentage. However, using the Jump Attack combination increases the damage percentage. Her counter dodge, “Don’t Look Down on Me,” not only avoids the enemy’s attack but also deals fire damage to enemies on the front line.

Her core skill, Reactive Assist: Coming Thru!, works like an intro skill that quickly attacks and significantly reduces the enemy’s HP in the blink of an eye. For the next characters, you can quickly switch to Koleda and activate the Defensive Assist Skill, Protective Hammer. This will deal 100+ points of damage to the enemy, and the Hammer Ball will spin and attack.

Anton

Anton is an electric element character whose basic attack is capable of dealing both physical and electric damage. During his second attack, he activates Burst Mode, which allows him to perform a heavy drill and shock attack. His dodge counter, Retaliation, deals small physical damage in one hit. However, after launching the Overload Drill’s Burst Mode, the drill attack begins, dealing massive electric damage to the enemy.

To stun the enemy for a while, activate the Reactive Assist, Shoulder-to-Shoulder Attack, which delivers back-to-back kicks to the enemy. The Reactive Assist works like an intro skill in this context. The starting chain attack shocks the enemy and deals electric damage, reducing the enemy’s energy to 0. If Anton’s energy is down, he won’t be able to deal shock damage.

Grace

Grace’s special attack is not as effective as her basic attack, and her crowd control abilities create space for agents like Ellen to attack. However, her core and dodge abilities may not be as effective against boss enemies. After triggering her chain attack, you’ll have a 3-second window to perform Collaborative Construction. Her ultimate skill, Bunch of Bombs, causes an explosive shock to the enemy, dealing electro damage. However, the shock effect lasts only for a few seconds.

Anby

Anby is a popular A-rank agent in ZZZ. Her basic attack doesn’t only deal electro damage but also unleashes a thunderbolt, rendering the enemy helpless for 10 seconds and significantly weakening them. Additionally, she is capable in crowd control, which helps other teammates in executing heavy attacks.

Her simplistic basic attack includes an optional finisher for electric damage. Additionally, she can mix in her special and EX special at the end of her combo. Her Ultimate Attack, Daze dealt, inflicts shock, causing massive electro damage to the enemy. However, her chain attack reduces the enemy’s energy.

Nicole

Nicole deals physical damage to enemies using her basic attack, Cunning Combo. This includes an unlisted charge attack that can be executed after any basic attack. She combines her EX Special Attack and Special Attack to create a combo that builds a circle energy field, weakening the enemy and dealing ether damage.

Nicole has a hidden alternative animation for her EX Skill, which can be activated by holding the skill button and performing a full 360-degree rotation movement. Her counter dodge, Diverted Bombard, allows her to evade enemy attacks and immediately strike back with a bomb attack. Her chain and ultimate attacks create an energy field above the enemy, dealing ether damage to them.

Billy

Billy’s Full Firepower basic attack continuously fires bullets, dealing physical damage to the enemy, and also regains Billy’s energy. When his basic and EX Special attacks are mixed, physical damage is maximized, resulting in assault damage to the enemy.

His dodge skill, Starlight Sanction, executes a piercing attack on nearby enemies. If you combine Starlight Sanction with the Counter Dodge Attack Fair Fight, it creates a perfect combo attack, dealing significant damage to the enemy. His core skill allows for quick piercing attack launches and energy regain upon character switch. Additionally, Fatal Shot deals physical damage to the enemy in front upon quick swapping. Billy’s gameplay loop revolves around maintaining distance while focusing on a specific target. He excels in building up Anomaly and charging Decibel (Ultimate) for the team. His kit emphasizes support utility rather than raw damage output.

Miyabi

Miyabi deals ice damage to enemies by combining her basic and dodge attacks, while also regaining energy. This highlights her special attack, making her capable of activating it. However, if she receives damage, debuffs, crowd control effects, or any other negative effects, she won’t be able to activate it.

After her Ultimate Skill is highlighted, Nagori Yuki skill will be ready to activate. Once activated, she will perform a powerful slash on nearby enemies, dealing massive ice damage. This will work best when the character is invulnerable.

Nekomata

Nekomata moves quickly and delivers heavy damage to enemies with her basic attacks, causing daze and immobilizing them for a few seconds. To activate her Ultimate Attack, Claw Smash, she needs to fill the Decibel Rating gauge. Once full, she unleashes massive physical damage to all nearby enemies.

Additionally, she has excellent crowd control abilities. Her core skill, Reactive Assist Cat’s Paw, combines to deal massive damage. After this, switching to another agent can increase attack points. Nekomata can be considered a sub-DPS character with high movement speed and the ability to deal massive damage.

Lycaon

Von Lycaon is quite dangerous, and his combination of Dodge and Basic Attack deals huge Ice damage to enemies. Adding his Normal Special Attack can reach up to 3000 Attack Points, filling the Decibel Rating gauge. Pressing the Ultimate Button then unleashes powerful strikes at enemies in a large area. If he uses his Basic, Dodge, and Normal Special Attacks to daze enemies first, his Ultimate Attack maximizes the Ice damage dealt to the enemies.

Rina

Rina’s Basic Attack and Dodge combination delivers both Physical and Electric damage, which can confuse enemies for a few seconds. You can then switch to another character, like Corin, who can use her powerful Reactive Assist: Emergency Measures skill. This skill slashes enemies in front and then detonates her chainsaw, dealing significant Physical damage.

She excels at long-range attacks, and her Ultimate skill allows her to throw grenades at enemies in a large area. This creates a shock circle in the air, dealing massive Electric damage to enemies all at once.

Zhu Yuan

Zhu Yuan’s Smooth Kick Normal Attack works as a surprise attack. Combined with her dodge, it helps increase both Physical and Ether damage. Initially, she works quite smoothly, but once she unlocks her EX Special Attack, she unleashes a barrage of bullets from her shotgun, dealing significant Ether damage to nearby enemies.

Her core attack is also quite powerful, especially the Assist Follow-Up, which helps in dealing both Physical and Ether damage. Additionally, she enhances her Shotshells to further increase her attack damage. To enhance shells, you need to dash and hold the normal attack, which will shoot 7 shells. To enter Surprise Mode with a normal attack, press and hold the basic attack, which will give Zhu Yuan an one extra Enhanced Shell.

Ben

Ben

Ben

In the beginning, Ben Bigger deals Physical Damage with his basic attacks. Once he has enough energy, he can launch his EX Special Attack “Cashflow Counter” to block enemy attacks. However, his dodge abilities aren’t as effective, so using a jump attack might be a better option instead.

To reach maximum points, you’ll need to continuously use basic and normal special attacks. After that, press the highlighted ultimate button to activate “Complete Payback.” This will deal maximum damage to all enemies in the nearby area and also cause them to be dazed.

Ellen

Ellen Joe is a popular and effective agent in Zenless Zone Zero because she has a powerful basic attack and her ultimate attack, Ice Storm, deals heavy ice damage to a large area of enemies. Additionally, her dodge abilities are excellent and powerful, which confuses enemies. Furthermore, she possesses crowd control abilities.

During testing, we found that Ellen deals more ice damage with her basic attack compared to her normal special attack. However, her EX special attack is very effective. Additionally, she can move quickly for a few seconds using her dodge skill until the cooldown period ends. Her core skill is crucial for knockback and defense. With her ultimate attack, she can freeze and daze enemies in a large area.

Soukaku

Agent Soukaku is often considered the least among agents, but for beginner players, it’s a great choice to help level up. She deals Physical and Ice damage with her basic attack, although she isn’t primarily a Physical element agent, so her Physical attacks aren’t perfect. However, she can collect over 100 points with Ice damage, and she also regains energy.

Her normal special attack freezes enemies instantly, causing them to fall down and fill the Decibel Rating gauge quickly, aiding in executing her ultimate attack. Her dodge counter lifts enemies into the air, dealing ice damage, and she uses her weapon defensively to block enemy attacks. She utilizes chain attacks by quick switching to collect over 1000 points and deal maximum damage.

Corin

In Zenless Zone Zero, Corin Wickes is one of the weaker characters, but she provides excellent backup and assists well in knocking back enemies when switching characters. Her ultimate attack, “Very, Very Sorry!” triggers when the decibel rating reaches maximum, dealing heavy physical damage to nearby enemies. An added bonus is that holding down the ultimate button can enhance her chainsaw attack.
