Burnice Overview
In Zenless Zone Zero, Burnice is a 5-Star fire character from the Sons of Calydon faction. She primarily uses anomaly-type weapons. Her ability, Nitro-Fuel Cocktail, deals fire damage to enemies when she enters the designated Heat Stage. Once in the Nitro-Fuel Cocktail state, her attacks apply a Scorched effect to enemies, inflicting heavy fire damage. Overall, Burnice is a strong off-field damage dealer.

The Anti-Interrupt Level is increased during the spray, and damage taken is reduced by 40%. Invincibility is granted during the sidestep and fire blast.

Core Passive
Nitro-Fuel Cocktail
Burnice accumulates Heat as she expends Energy, up to a maximum of 100. For each point of Energy spent, she gains 1.4 Heat. Upon reaching 50 Heat, she enters the Nitro-Fuel Cocktail state, which lasts until all Heat is expended. When entering the battlefield, she immediately accumulates 100 Heat.
While in the Nitro-Fuel Cocktail state, hitting an enemy with Basic Attack: Mixed Flame Blend, EX Special Attack, Chain Attack, or Ultimate applies the Scorched effect. This effect remains until she exits the Nitro-Fuel Cocktail state. When squad members hit enemies with the Scorched status, it triggers the Afterburn effect, consuming 8 Heat to deal Fire DMG equal to 175% of Burnice’s ATK and accumulate Fire Anomaly Buildup. This can trigger once every 1.5 seconds.
Every 10 Anomaly Proficiency increases Afterburn Damage by 1%, up to a maximum of 30%. The damage from the Afterburn effect is classified as Assist Attack Damage.

When a squad member is an Anomaly character or belongs to the same Faction, the following effects occur:
If Burnice’s Basic Attack: Mixed Flame Blend, EX Special Attack: Intense Heat Stirring Method, or EX Special Attack: Intense Heat Stirring Method – Double Shot hits an enemy, or if the Afterburn effect is triggered, the accumulated Fire Anomaly Buildup increases by 65%.
When any team member applies the Burn effect to the enemy, its duration is extended by 3 seconds.

This effect can activate every 0.5 seconds and does not consume Heat. While the move is active, its special Afterburn and Burn effects will ignore 25% of the target’s Fire RES. Additionally, if the fire blast from EX Special Attack: Intense Heat Stirring Method – Double Shot hits a Burned enemy, it will trigger extra Burn DMG equal to 1,800% of the original DMG. This extra Burn DMG effect can occur once every 20 seconds per target.
